SARAH UNDERHILL is a singer, songwriter and collector of traditional folk ballads, living in the Hudson Valley since her teen years. She was an early Sloop Clearwater member, including crewing, performing and recording with Pete Seeger and friends. In her collaborations and numerous CD's with Ian Worpole and others for over 20 years, her ethereal, often a cappella, singing has captivated many an audience.Sarah&Ian's music can be found on Spotify & itunes. IAN WORPOLE born&raised in England, honed his picking style in the 1970's folk clubs of Newcastle-on-Tyne, migrated to the States in '74 and settled in Woodstock, where he lives on Levon Helm Memorial Boulevard and sings traditional & contemporary songs, plays guitar & mandolins, picking jigs, reels & O'Carolan pieces at local bars, Irish sessions and festivals. A 13 year monthly Sunday residence with Sarah Underhill at the Rosendale Cafe resulted in playing with the area's finest in Irish music; they have recorded 3 CD's together.
