Rhythm makes the music and most bluegrass ensembles rely on the guitar player to establish that rock solid base for the band to thrive around. It's the glue that holds the band together. This takes both right and left hand skills. In this workshop, we will learn and practice techniques for both hands that help you establish crisp, clean, rhythm playing that the rest of the music relies on. Pre-requisite: you must already know these chords: G, C, D, A, F. We will work on timing, tone, rhythm, and bass runs. The same skills apply to country and many folk guitar styles.
Recording selected sections of the lessons will be allowed, video or audio.
